Valentine’s Day is a day to share with the ones that you love. If you’re like many people, this includes your children. There are so many ideas to share with them. I remember pulling out all the construction paper, scissors,glue and glitter to help my son’s make valentines. Although they wanted to take the store bought ones to school. We always baked heart shaped sugar cookies and decorated them with colored frosting and candies. I think I had more fun with this then they did. more…

Last week I received my monthly AAA magazine that featured Lighthouses along the Coast of California. I’ve already been to a couple of them and they are certainly beautiful. I’ve never felt inspired or nudge to go visist any of them. However ther was this one on the cover that seemed to call to me….Strange because I don’t often get called to do something like that. I thought I would go over the weekend because I needed to get away from the house. The weekend passed with other things filling my time yet, the voice inside kept saying go to the lighthouse. I kept dimissing it thinking I really don’t want to go alone. more…
